Body, Soul, and Spirit…
Ever wonder why our bodies need sleep?
Or have you ever wanted to sleep but couldn’t
Ever know you have something to do but couldn’t focus?
Ever want to turn off your brain?…
Or turn on your brain but it just seems to not be functioning the way you need it to?
Ever crave something so much you couldn’t have?
Or rejected something you know you needed?
Ever wonder why you need things at all?
In my younger years I hated being human.
Ever wonder why it would be in your design to be incomplete?
To know that while on the earthly plain you are always going to fall?
…Always going to need
…Always going to want
…Always going to have limitations
Battling yourself is probably the hardest of them all.
What happens when the body, soul, and spirit disagree?…
Driven by the spirit is where we ought to be,
but what happens when the bodily limitations get in the way.
and what happens when your mind just won’t produce the thoughts your spirit knows you need.
The spirit is love.
The spirit seeks to be outside
It seeks to serve
It seeks to give…
What do you do when you don’t have the resources to give,
the brain capacity to understand,
or the will to fight it through…
But you know it’s not over.
And you must also battle with that thing called time.
Spirit take over.
Make them all agree
Maybe then you and I will be… again.
This time forever.

Take time to evaluate where you stand… And in case you can’t read the picture, it says:
1) Respect everyone - Christ resides in everyone. Be sensitive to others -They are your brothers and sisters
2) Think well of everyone - think ill of no one. Try to find something good even in the worst of circumstances.
3) Always speak well of others - do not cast a slur on anyone. Repair any harm resulting from an uttered word. Do not provoke strife between people.
4) Speak to everyone in the language of love. Do not raise your voice. Do not swear. Do not vex others. Do not provoke tears. Reassure others. Show a kind heart.
5) Forgive everyone everything. Do not hold grudges. Always be the first to extend your hand as a sign of reconciliation.
6) Act always to your neighbor’s advantage. Do good things to others, as you would like them done to you. Never give a thought to what others owe you, but always to what you owe them.
7) Be actively compassionate in time of suffering. Be quick to offer consolation, counsel, assistance, kindness.
8) Work conscientiously - others benefit from the fruits of your labor just as you benefit from the labor of others.
9) Be active in your community. Be open to the poor and the sick. Share your goods. Try to see the needs of those around you.
10) Pray for everyone. Even your enemies.

Time is a joke.
Its a prank.
It teaches us patience.
It teaches us humility.
But it is probably one of the most frustrating things on our earthly path.
To be seperated from tine and space is something we all want.
To not have to go through the trainings,
The conditioning,
And physical labor…
To just think existence.
Yes, this is the first step.
Yes, this is a physical thrust towards reality.
But we still must deal with time and space.
We need to work hard,
And give it all the neccesary time to grow and manifest itself.
Love…
Is the hardest of this battle.
Even though the most rewarding,
It requires most effort.
To serve.
To give.
And to wait…
Knowing that your actions
Although may be a manifestation of the love
Can never prove it.
It can’t teach it.
It can’t be perfect love.
For even when all passions, sentiments, and desires persue love
We can not reach it by our own accord.
We must still deal with the humorous obstacles of time, and space.
Even when I choose to unite to love…
It is not enough.
I will still mess up, and be seperated from love.
Only time will tell…
Or so we are told.
Some get it while young,
Others when old.
Some right away,
But most over time.
I’ll wait for love
To make love mine…
Or ours.

Life contains many things. Smiles and laughter, as well as hurt and pain. Being a father and protecting and guiding life means a lot. Sometimes you will be at home. Sometimes at the park.
