Just coming back from the church teaching, and I spent some time sharing #TheDedication with my students. One of the girls comes to me after class and says “Your songs touched me.” … That’s it! I don’t need one more person to check it out, that was enough for me. Truly humbled.

This past Saturday I was at BRONX HEROES COMIC CON 5 with my boy and I have to say it was a great experience.
Bronx Heroes Comic Con strive to empower individuals by educating them with the tools they need to succeed in the corporate world of freelance art and comics. We accomplish this goal by bringing awareness to the Bronx community regarding career opportunities in comic writing/art, graphic novels illustration, and CGI art industries.
The vision of Bronx Heroes Comic Con is to foster new generations of readers by promoting literacy through the reading and exploration of comics, graphic novels. The mission is to engage individuals, cultivating their talent and desire to build a career in the comic media and commercial art industry through workshops, panels, seminars, exhibitions and hosting conventions.
With that, I had to make a guest appearance! lol.
But it was great, and served as some amazing inspiration for future endeavors here as an artist with #allislove.

Before #TheDedication is released, here is a small reflection on two amazing characters from a Superhero story…
Many of us may know of the character Superman. A super powered alien who crash landed to earth as a baby and raised in a very low income household by human beings grows to be a great hero in the city of Metropolis. With heat vision, flight, super speed an super strength (not to mention ice breath) this hero works to rid the city and the world of evil using his super abilities to protect the people from doom.
Superman is a CLASSIC! We grow up with his story through cartoons, movies, comics, and all other sorts of merchandise. I mean Superman is even the head of The Justice League! So he’s got to be an important character.
Then we have “Bizzaro” who is probably one of the most interestingly written characters from Superman’s story…. HE IS SUPERMAN’S BACKWARD CLONE! He has Ice vision and heat breath, and so many other functions which are completely backward!
So you’re thinking, ok so what!… Opposite powers, and…
Well it doesn’t stop there. Bizzaro’s logic and thinking is equally backward. Instead of saving cats stuck in trees, he believes he must save the tree from the cat… And if there’s a fire then Bizarro believes he must throw the fire truck into it for explosion and problem solved!
What makes Bizarro such a unique character is that he truly believes he is doing right! He really thinks such actions are beneficial for others. He is trying to help and save the day, but instead is only serving to be one of Superman’s arch-enemies and that’s what makes him such a tricky one to deal with.
Much of mankind is Bizarro! It is in our nature to desire to do what is right. We want good, and all that we do we are just pursuing what we have been taught is best.
The only way we can be truly be the Superhero we are destined to be is if we are taught the truth in #LOVE … In Superman’s case, he was raised by an old couple who was very kind, gentle, humble, and simple. This is what fosters our growth, and trains us for the mission ahead.
We give love only once it is received. And it is only in the willfully active choice to surrender to #LOVE daily, can we continue to be heros.

I just had a revelation as I saw kids walk away joyfully from a Mister Softee truck with their ice cream….
I want my words to be for mankind like that song is for kids and I want my works to bring the joy to others like the way the ice cream is for kids in the summer here in NYC. #allislove

#TheDedication is my full journey to cartoon world.
As a kid, I was always a dreamer… I was told by my elders to get out of “La-La-Land” and it wasn’t an act of disobedience but for some reason it was something I just couldn’t follow.
When I was 16 on a retreat, I had a vision of endless clouds and was given a momentary sense of peace I had never felt prior to this. I didn’t understand why, and soon after when coming back to the Bronx I would be faced with some great difficulties I would not know how to handle. This resulted in some short comings, but also a time of great learning and growth.
At this time I would stop listening to any “main-stream” music. I also stopped watching tv. My whole mindset was independent and underground culture. I had disagreed with American Pop Culture prior to this, but at this time was when it really started to take form. The problem was, in the underground culture(at least here in NYC) was powered by drugs, and a party lifestyle I could not keep up with. I was exposed to many things in these next few years. Some you may consider good, and others you may consider bad, but all helped teach me to get to the point where I stand today.
We live in the day and age of “marry me on Facebook” but run away and divorce my actual commitments. In a time where going to school is not for learning and growth, but a money making system that controls the minds of the masses; working to input information of their subjective and limited truth rather than teaching how to think and draw forth from within. We live in a time where couples on dates go out to eat, and spend their time independently on their phones checking their Facebook or Instagram rather than engaging in conversation with one another. We live in a time of popularity contest politics and the masses unaware of true morality.
The modern day has many sad realities, but when we remove ourselves from this reality and start to live in the clouds with #LOVE … We begin a change for the rest of mankind. I work not for myself, but for you my brothers and sisters. Some say what I say is nonsensical… And perhaps they are right. But they also can’t prove to me that this modern day makes any more sense than this land of ideals that I live in.
This is the Evolution. Live in the joy of cartoon world.
